Anthony's story is a sad one, indeed.  He was bullied and humiliated as a live boy, but that was only the beginning.  At age 12,  Anthony became a vampire who would become known as "Lad the Impaler".

 

Once a vampire, he became reckless and murderous and quickly dispatched of Lord Pter, declaring himself the new 'Lord of Monsters'.

He is a main character in "Lad the Impaler" and "Lad of the Dead".
