Mojave led his people from the desert and founded a new tribe in the jungle now known as 'Poly Jungle' long before the city of Polywerp existed.  He was the first chief of the Quintaka tribe and, after his death, his bones were placed in the Quintaka Burial Temple where they remain to this day.

 

It was believed that Mojave experimented with dark magic and knew the secret of trapping souls.  Seeking this information, the mysterious 'man in black' brought Mojave back to life using the Tome of the Dead.
