Payton may look wimpy, but he's earned a black belt in Kempo.

 

He is also quite diligent.  In fact, while most of his classmates were enjoying their Christmas vacations, Payton took it upon himself to get a job with Regnad Toys.  Unfortunately, the owner of Regnad Toys was a hideous she-beast who unleashed her babies upon Payton and his coworkers.  Though he was the only survivor, he has a noticeable scar across the left side of his face which he acquired while battling beasties.

Since the Regnad Toys incident, Payton has been seeing a psychologist.  He was mocked and teased by his peers at Napoleon Middle School, so his parents pulled him out and sent him to a boarding school called St. Damon's.  Though scarred physically and emotionally, Payton is strong-willed and is trying to move on with his life.

 

Payton is doing better at his new school.  He has met new friends and is becoming better focused with his school work.
