Seryj has been an orphan most of his life, and has spent most of that time begging on the streets of Moscow.

 

He was "adopted" (some might say kidnapped) by a former KGB agent who mutated Seryj with a wolf, giving him canine ears, a tail, big teeth, and the desire to hunt ... while the rest of him remains human.

 

Seryj speaks fluent Russian and broken English.
