The South Street Bunnies were formed in early 2006 when music producer Carl Binders gather together six youngsters from the local elementary school, who, at the time, were between the ages of nine and eleven.

Mr. Binders wanted to create a wholesome, family-oriented "boy band" that would not offend even the most sensitive viewer.  Though the South Street Bunnies are often considered "wimps" or "sissies" by many, young girls, generally between the ages of five and fifteen tend to be fanatical about the group.  Unlike some other bands, parents are pleased by the group's positive and non-offensive lyrics and are more than happy to allow their daughters to listen to their music, attends concerts, and purchase merchandise.

Their first album, "Bunny Bop", released in 2006, was an instant success and sold millions of copies.  Mr. Binders and the six members of the band quickly became rich and famous and began to tour the United States.  Their cutesy on-stage outfits were a hit (at least with those fanatical, screaming girls).

In 2007 the group recorded and released their second album "It's a Bunny World" which included the hit single "My Lucky Foot", a hip song that made it to #1 on the pop charts.  The South Street Bunnies toured the United States, Canada, and parts of Europe and Asia to promote this album.

In September of 2009, the South Street Bunnies released their most recent album "Audacity of Hop" which spawned two #1 hits: "I Love to Bounce" and "Hop for You", the later of which is considered by many to be their most popular song.

Now the members are between the ages of twelve and fourteen and they are currently on tour in the United States and Canada and, in early 2010, they plan to tour much of Europe and parts of Asia.
