Roland is a thin lad, but fit and trained to use a sword in combat.  He was kidnapped about three months prior to his upcoming battle with Wes.  His owner allows Roland to wear nothing but a pair of pink shorts, the trademarks of those forced to fight for the Wild Hearts team.
