Jazz is mutant from central California who often feeds on the Gilroy Gutmuncher's leftovers or rejects.

 

He joined up with Ryder and Neppo to travel north.  While he pretended to be friendly, he had an evil, selfish plot in mind.  From the moment he first saw Neppo, Jazz was plotting to catch the boy alone so he could eat him.
