Early Life

Naxos, half human and half Kytton, was born in the slums of Firehawk.  When only a few days old, his parents, who couldn't afford to feed their entire litter, abandoned Naxos, leaving him on the doorstep of a shelter.

 

The shelter cared for the young Kytton for a few years until the owner passed away.  The Sultan of Firehawk proposed a paltry tax on imported caviar to fund the shelter, but the city's aristocrats became angry and boycotted the delicacy.  Giving into pressure, the Sultan shut down the shelter and sold all of the inhabitants into slavery.  Naxos was sold to a local slave owner who, later, sold the Kytton to Boss Coyote.

 

Coyote's Compound

Unlike most of Boss Coyote's slaves, Naxos was allowed a life a comfort, being housed within the palace rather than the slave pens.  With his Kytton instincts making him a great hunter, Boss Coyote used the half-breed to track and retrieve any escaping or escaped slaves.

 

Adventures with Voonder

Voonder schemed to separate Naxos from Boss Coyote, then offered the Kytton an opportunity to escape his life of slavery and join the goblin, being his hunting companion.

 

The two travelled to Polywerp where Voonder became a mentor to Naxos.
