THE BIG DAY which caused the apocalypse is December 21, 2012 which is a date

of significance in the Mayan Calendar and caused some fears leading up to it.

The 3rd and final chapter was released on Dec 21, 2012.

The world did not end (except for Neppo).

In addition to the Mayan Calendar, several doomsday theories and conspiracies are weaved into the story such as:

Planet Nibiru, The New World Order, and Reptilians.

Eyes are a motif throughout the comic:  Neppo's eye compulsion, Sande's glowing eyes, Ryder's 3rd eye, and the New World Order's Eye

Emperor Ike's name is reference to the person who is most famous for the the "Reptilian" conspiracy.

Wasteland Ryder was one of the last comics made using the Phase 2 style.

The 3rd chapter was created using Phase 3's resolution and style.

The three covers each focus on one of the primary colors (yellow, red, blue).

Ryder is sent to collect a disc from the Twins.

He never finds it and the disc's contents are not yet known,

though will be explored in the sequel.

A sequel has been planned for many years.  In 2017, I planned out a new story called "Fury Toad" and even created its cover.

To date, no additional work has been put into a sequel, though I still intend to create one.

I've re-created the final scene in a modern, high-res image.

In order to get this -- find Blackmoon (the cat) in Wasteland Ryder and email me his location or page number!

I will, ultimately, give this image to anyone who asks for it, but please try to find the cat, first!

New Cover

I've remade the main cover -- kept same setting, but improved.  Neppo is new pose, better lighting, sand no longer pixelated, etc.

The original (2011) and newer (2020) covers.

The new cover replaces the ghostly arms with the correct witch and adds some other details.
