I was inspired to create this comic after seeing clips on YouTube from an anime called Blood C.

The "winged" kills were inspired by something similar from Beastmaster as seen in the linked video.

School of Nightmares may have the highest amount of "on-screen" kills.

The amount of characters and creatures needed made this comic incredibility time-consuming to create.

Even when I made the Nightmares comic, I had planned to later make a story focusing on just Rune.

That happened about four years later in "A Flower to a Sword."

The spiky-haired creature seems to be the only Nightmare who can speak (other than the Master).

"Spiky" is seen in both "School of Nightmares" and its prequel "Flower to a Sword".

We learn in the prequel that Rune wants revenge against this creature and some

of the dialogue was updated to better connect the two stories.

This story introduces the idea of a multiverse / alternate realities in Wundercomics which is later explored more in Teen Amazing.
