Though I've never seen "The Creature from the Black Lagoon", the comic's cover and basic feel was inspired by it.

The cartoon version of the Eerie monster was created by whoindeed.

The letters "EATU" are given an orange highlight to stand out more and give a hint as to the creature's plans.

There was a planned scene with Alec and his fan, Max, hanging out, prior to Max's brutal end when he goes jogging.

Though cut, a few images were made.
