Introduction

Summer Camp Slaughter is one of the oldest Wundercomics.

To date, it is the only comic to feature the killer known as Chef the Butcher,

who was the flagship villain of Wundercomics prior to Voonder.

Prior to any comics, Chef the Butcher was seen in several stand-alone images

and a few written stories, including one with Kyeat.

Trivia

Gold Medal

Summer Camp Slaughter is the best-selling Wundercomic to date, and has held that spot pretty much since it was created in 2006.

Trick or Eat 3 has, occasionally, claimed the top place, but SCS holds it far more consistently.

The numbers sold don't necessarily indicate which are the best comics --

Phase 1 comics have a HUGE advantage with this metric as they've been around for so long, have had price drops, and are included in packs.

It's not until we get to 7th place that a Phase 2 comic shows up... and 20th place until a Phase 3 comic shows up.

Regardless, Summer Camp Slaughter deserves kudos for holding the top spot for so long.

You Only Die Twice

In the early days, I didn't think about things like continuity and canon. Comics and stand-alone images would kill off the same characters multiple times.

Nowadays, I only consider comics to be canon and all else (commissions, single images such as Ides of March, etc) to be 'just for fun.'

Kyeat has been killed in two canon comics:  Summer Camp Slaughter and Goblin Raiders.

While Kyeat's never actually seen in Summer Camp Slaughter, there are two references to Chef Charles having killed him

-- this originates from a series of non-comic images from the very early days of my forum in which we see the crazed butcher hack up Kyeat.

Continuity

Two references to Kyeat being murdered are mentioned in Summer Camp Slaughter.

These reports conflict with another comic:  Goblin Raiders.
