Introduction

Trick or Eat 8 is probably one of the more overlooked in the series and has the fewest sales from the Phase 2 era of Trick or Eats.

This could be because it doesn't have as unique a feel as others such as its predecessor with the chocolate curse its successor with Pale Anne and her rod.

That all said, I think it still has its own charm and tells the tale of Colter seeking revenge on Baba Yaga.

Trivia

While there are some reoccurring characters (witches), Trick or Eat comics are standalone stories.

The one exception may be Trick or Eat 8 which continues the story of Colter from Trick or Eat 4.

Trick 4 was one of my more political works.  Trick 8 tones that down considerably,

though does make a (now-dated) reference to a witch from Delaware:  "I'm not a witch" clip.

Colter was "shadowed" on the cover and she's not in any of the sample pages to make her

appearance in Trick or Eat 8 a surprise.  Now, 7 years later, the new cover has her displayed prominently.

I remember having a hard time coming up with a title.

I often listen to music on YouTube when working and a metal cover for "Dancing With Tears in My Eyes" popped up in my recommended list.

While the song and lyrics are not Halloween themed, I found the music haunting enough to inspire Trick 8's title.

Harvest in the Pumpkin Patch was created in September, 2010 but not released until that Halloween, along side Trick or Eat 8.

I recreated the cover, keeping the same basic look.
