Far to the east in
the desert kingdom known as the "Valley of the Sun" a wicked and
powerful entity is on the rise.
The Dread Lord, who
self-titled himself 'Abd al-Shayton', using a
captured angel as bait, is luring paladins to him like flies to a spider web.
With each drop of paladin blood, the
mysterious Abd al-Shayton has the ability to summon an evil demon known as a djinn.
Already, the demon attacks
have begun -- they come, they spread chaos
and death, and then they quickly vanish.
People, panicked and filled
with fear, are oblivious to the source of
these cruel demons and look to extreme leaders with false hopes of salvation.
Meanwhile, the young paladin,
Datton, haunted by horrid dreams, travels
through the desert seeking the ancient city
of Firehawk and then the Dread
Lord, who he believes has imprisoned his
friend and mentor....
