Dixon is a lad from the deep south with a thick country accent.

 

His parents are deeply religious and do not approve of horror movies, comics, and, especially, Halloween.  They really dislike Dixon's best friend, Felix, and see him as a bad influence on their son.

 

After much pleading, his parents have agreed to allow him to go trick or treating so long as he wears a 'family-friendly' costume, only goes with other kids from their church, and doesn't stay out past 8:00 PM.
