Sauri (plural of Saurus) can be found just about anywhere in the world.  These creatures, although related to raptors, are generally passive and shy unless trained to be otherwise as they are in the Lion's Den Arena.  They are the most domesticated animal other than cats and dogs, and are considered pets and even mounts.

BREEDS

Forest:  These are the most commonly seen Sauri and can commonly be found anywhere from cold evergreen forests to warm tropical jungles.  Generally, the forest sauri are born various green hues, lighter in warmer locations.  Veks often breed these for pets and watch guards.

Tundra:  Found in the colder areas of the world, they have thicker skin and are the same color as snow.  This is the only breed known to eat fish.

Desert:  These sauri are usually brown, yellow, or a dull red and can be found in the dry, hot deserts.  By nature, the desert saurus is passive, but in The Valley of the Sun, they are captured and trained to be aggressive killers by the owner of the Lion's Den Arena.

Swamp:  The most rare of the types of sauri, found only in warm and humid swamplands.  Their diet primarily consists of frogs and berries, and they are known to come in shades of brown and green, and very rarely, black, making the last-mentioned a favorite for hunters and tourists to find.
